We are the only dedicated snorkelling trip here in the Bay of Islands, with 2 different snorkelling spots with all the top quality snorkelling gear provided Travelling out past the main group of islands with commentary, super scenery and many natures wonders along the way this trip goes to the reserve (since 2010) of Deep Water Cove, with possible up to 2 hours in the water enjoying the many varieties of fish life and having the extra time allows us to enjoy some time at Otehie Bay (usually around 45min) on the way home where there is a small walk up a hill to get some amazing 360 views over the Bay of Island or just chill out at the cafe. If you want, extend your time at Otehei Bay and rent a Kayak or paddle board maybe even join a kayaking tour run by Bay of Islands kayaking, or walk over the hill to get a beach to yourselves, this extension of time at the island will require you to purchase a ferry ticket back later on in the day, run by Explore NZ priced around $40 pp one way. We provide all the snorkelling gear and have full wetsuits to ensure that your time in the water is comfortable, a hot fresh water rinse off afterwards and a cup of instant hot soup is just the icing on the cake. Our vessels Pelorus Belle is a 8m very stable boat and travelling out to our snorkelling spots are in 70% sheltered waters, we have created a platform that lowers into the water for easy access in and out of the water, no jumping or climbing out of the water!
